Describe the moment when you decided that you wanted to pursue a career in the culinary field.
I really enjoy food, so while I was attending a vocational school I decided to take a culinary class. It expanded my knowledge of food and opened my eyes to an entire new world.
How have friends and family reacted to your career choice?
They are excited that I am pursing a career in the culinary industry. They are always asking me what I will be cooking next.
What do you like most about working in a professional kitchen?
I love the fast-paced environment in a professional kitchen. It is upbeat, just like me.
What’s your favorite comfort food?
My comfort food is a burger and fries.
What is your favorite thing about working at Snapchef?
I love working with Snapchef because I have the opportunity to work in different kitchens often.
What is your advice to those interested in pursuing a career in the culinary field?
My advice to other future chefs would be to take advantage of chefs who are willing to teach you. You can learn something from every kitchen that you go to, as long as you’re willing to learn.
What are some of your other hobbies outside of cooking?
In my spare time, I enjoy painting and going on hikes.
