Position Overview

As a Quality Control Chef at Snapchef, you’ll play a vital role in maintaining operational excellence across a variety of foodservice environments. You’ll be the bridge between our culinary staff and our clients—monitoring performance, enforcing food safety standards, coaching team members, and identifying training opportunities.

This role offers the chance to work in diverse commercial kitchens throughout the tri-state area, including colleges and universities, hospitals, corporate cafeterias, country clubs, senior living communities, and more. Key Responsibilities

Employee Performance & Compliance Monitoring

  • Conduct regular site visits to observe and evaluate Snapchef team performance
  • Ensure adherence to food safety protocols, uniform standards, and workplace policies
  • Provide real-time feedback and coaching to improve staff effectiveness
  • Document inspections, coaching sessions, and quality reviews

Client Relations & Feedback Management

  • Serve as a key point of contact for client concerns and feedback
  • Collaborate with clients to align staff performance with expectations
  • Address and resolve service issues promptly and professionally
  • Document outcomes and contribute to service improvements

Training & Development Support

  • Identify training needs based on site visits and client input
  • Partner with the Training Team to implement refresher and custom training
  • Support new employee onboarding and ensure early adherence to standards

Policy & Procedure Enforcement

  • Enforce Snapchef and client-specific safety and service standards
  • Audit employee records, timekeeping, and evaluations for compliance
  • Recommend updates to policies based on client needs and regulatory changes

Continuous Improvement & Reporting

  • Track performance trends and recurring service issues
  • Generate reports for leadership with findings and recommended action plans
  • Align quality initiatives with Snapchef’s operational goals through collaboration with HR, operations, and client service teams

Qualifications & Experience

  • 4+ years of experience in quality control, compliance, or operational support
  • Background in staffing, hospitality, or foodservice preferred
  • Strong working knowledge of food safety and service best practices
  • Excellent communication, coaching, and conflict resolution skills
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to travel regularly to client sites
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and internal reporting platforms
