At Snapchef, we believe great staffing doesn’t stop once someone’s in the kitchen. Our clients count on consistency, safety, and professionalism across every shift. That’s where our Quality Control Chefs come in.

We sat down with Paul Streichert, one of Snapchef’s seasoned QC Chefs, to understand how this role builds stronger relationships with clients, supports our culinary professionals, and reinforces the high standards that kitchens depend on.

As a QC Chef, I regularly visit client sites to provide hands-on operational support, on-site evaluations, coaching, and reporting. My role is to reinforce both Snapchef and client standards while strengthening the overall partnership through consistent presence and follow-through.

Clients benefit because the QC Chef serves as a leader and brand ambassador, acting as a direct liaison between Snapchef Operations, on-site staff, and the client. This ensures consistent food quality, clear communication, accountability, and alignment with brand and operational standards.

Client feedback is overwhelmingly positive. Many are pleasantly surprised that Snapchef provides a dedicated chef resource and appreciate having a direct point of contact for communication, troubleshooting, and collaboration.

Visit frequency is based on each client’s needs and the number of Snapchef staff at their location. Scheduled visits may include employee evaluations, working alongside the client’s team, supporting day-to-day operations, and assisting with administrative or long-term planning, always with the goal of strengthening the relationship and performance.

Most people don’t realize that a QC Chef is highly approachable and not focused on paperwork alone. The role is about supporting and protecting the operation, developing staff, addressing issues early, and helping kitchens succeed sustainably over the long term.

The Quality Control Chef is an extension of the service we promise. You’re not just getting a body—you’re getting a system of support, accountability, and continuous improvement. That’s what makes Snapchef different.
