The New England Center and Home for Veterans hosted the annual Greater Boston Stand Down at Boston City Hall Plaza on Friday. This yearly event brought together community providers and Veterans in one place to provide Veterans easy access to services and employment opportunities.
Snapchef, the leading culinary staffing company in New England met with over twenty veterans interested in learning more becoming cooks in Boston. Snapchef has a strong track record of training, employing, and promoting veterans since opening its doors in 2002.
As in past years, over 100 service providers, employers, and community organizations participated and provided essential supportive services, including housing assistance, medical care and wellness programs, legal support and employment assistance.
Snapchef is hiring at all skill and levels and looks forward to continued collaboration with the Veteran community of Massachusetts.
