What experience in your life led to you interested in food and cooking?
I became interested in food and cooking while working in the hospitality industry. Dealing with food and coworkers shows that you’re focused and working at a destined ability to get things done.
Describe the moment when you decided that you wanted to pursue a career in the culinary field.
I was out walking and ran into someone that introduced Snapchef to me and how easy it was to get a job. I was thrilled at the opportunity.
What challenges have you faced – and what obstacles have you had to overcome – to pursue your career in the culinary field?
The biggest challenge was overcoming the fears and when to acknowledge I didn’t know something.
How have friends and family reacted to your career choice?
Everyone I know has been very supportive of my decision and they are all very happy for me.
What do you like most about working in a professional kitchen?
I enjoying meeting new people as well as learning to make food for myself at home. I find myself very happy with what I do
What’s your favorite comfort food?
My favorite comfort foods are chicken wings and chicken tenders.
What is your favorite thing about working at Snapchef?
All of the management goes above and beyond to do their best to accommodate our needs and preferences which works for us.
What is your advice to those interested in pursuing a career in the culinary field?
Give it a try, there is no harm in it.
What are some of your other hobbies outside of cooking?
Besides cooking, I enjoy sports, watching TV, and playing video games.
