(Today) Snapchef, the leading culinary training and staffing agency in New England, highlighted its women executives in honor of National Women’s History Month. Snapchef recognized Daniela Snopkowski, CFO and Founder, and Jennifer Danaux, Rhode Island Office Operations Manager. Through their leadership and knowledge of business operations, Snapchef has found the success it has today.
The theme of this year’s National Women’s History Month honors trailblazing women in labor and business. According to the 2016 State of Women-Owned Businesses Report, the percentage of women-owned businesses has increased from 9% in 2007 to 45% in 2016. Through various initiatives and programs, Daniela Snopkowski and Jennifer Danaux have proven themselves as strong business leaders within the culinary industry.
As a Founder and CFO, Daniela Snopkowski has managed Snapchef’s financial growth and back office systems since the company’s inception. Her comprehensive knowledge of business operations coupled with multicultural business experience has helped shape the Snapchef brand to what it is today. Jennifer Danaux serves as the Operations Manager for Snapchef’s newest office in Rhode Island. Having received her bachelor’s and master’s degrees from Johnson & Wales University, Danaux has strong culinary knowledge and experience. Danaux has leveraged these skills to bolster workforce development within the Snapchef Rhode Island office.

Daniela and Jennifer have played a pivotal role in the growth of Snapchef across New England. In 2015, Snapchef opened a new office in Worcester, Massachusetts. Snapchef was able to leverage this new location to spur hiring plans within the region, immediately hiring 50 culinary professionals. As the Operations Manager of Snapchef’s Rhode Island Office, Danaux has demonstrated a capacity for office management and dedication to Snapchef’s diverse employees. These talents have increased interest in Snapchef across New England. Today, Snapchef has five locations (two in Boston and one each in Holden, MA, Rhode Island and Worcester), 450 customers, and places 200 workers per day. In 2016, Snapchef employed more than 1,200 people combating the industry’s shrinking labor pool.
Both women have helped manage the implementation of Snapchef Permanently, a new solution to meet a wider range of foodservice staffing needs. Snapchef Permanently provides culinary clients permanent placement of culinary kitchen staff of all levels as well as food service executive placement. Snapchef Permanently is an online platform accessible to any smartphone device and desktop computer. The service allows individuals and companies to provide their profiles for full time employment. Snapchef utilizes its mobile application SnapApp for easy access and utilization for all services including permanent placement.
Snapchef is fortunate to be developing a senior operations team supporting Snopkowski and Danaux. Snapchef operations center in Holden Massachusetts is managed by Cherise Silverio and Jasmine DeLaCruz. Cherise Silverio has been with Snapchef and DTC enterprises since 2011 and is responsible for maintaining office operations and procedures. Jasmine De La Cruz, with her encouraging and understanding leadership style assists Snapchef employees and clients. She has earned a spot as one of our key office managers playing a significant role in overseeing operations in five states.
